Welcome, and thanks for finding Macarthur Yoga. YOGA is for "EVERY BODY". A consistent practice of Yoga will reap many benefits for you. Better health and a feeling of well-being, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It is important to note and understand that YOGA is non-competitive and is a highly individual pursuit, whose underlying principles promote honoring, working with and accepting your own individual limitations and ability. It wont happen over night .... but it will happen.

My classes are of a moderate pace and contain therapeutic postures designed to engage not only your body, but much more importantly your mind and breath as well. I use influences from Hatha Yoga, which incorporates relaxation, simple breath awareness, strength, balance and flexibility. All postures encourage release of toxins and blockages from the physical, mental and emotional levels of our being.
Clear, safe and descriptive instructions.
It is also important to note that patience and "regular attendance" to Yoga class will provide you with an expansion of self awareness and control, and will encourage concentration, inner stillness, perseverance, patience, self acceptance, objective self observation and a sense of humor, ALL of which bring happiness, balance and harmony to the body, mind and spirit.
